Associate Vladimir Palamarciuc - Speaker at an Open Discussion on the New Insolvency Law

Chisinau, Moldova  - On Wednesday, July 10th, an open discussion for trainee lawyers and young practitioners on "The Prospects of the New Insolvency Law and the Protection of Creditor Interests in Insolvency Proceedings" at the Public Library of Law. The event was sponsored by ABA ROLI Moldova and organized under the auspices of the Moldovan Bar Association. Turcan Cazac associate and president of the Young Lawyers Association Vladimir Palamarciuc has been one of the speakers, along with lawyer and lecturer at the Moldova State University Gheorghe Macovei.

The speakers discussed a wide range of aspects, including the perspectives and novations of the new rules, the forms of insolvency proceedings, the stages of the process and their particularities.

This is the second time that Vladimir Palamarciuc is a speaker at an ABA ROLI open discussion, having spoken on the nullity of the civil juridical act in October 2012.

Associate Vladimir Palamarciuc joined Turcan Cazac in 2011. He specializes in civil law, commercial law, judiciary disputes and insolvency procedure.  Vladimir has been involved in several leading mandates of the firm and has been part of the Turcan Cazac team that consulted IFC in regards to the first healthcare PPPs in the country. 

Vladimir also serves as President of the Young Lawyers Association of the Moldovan Bar Association. Among his many initiatives related to initial legal training of practitioners, most recently, Vladimir coordinated the working group that created the first guide for trainee lawyers in Moldova. Vladimir obtained his LL.M and Bachelor of Laws degree from the Moldovan State University, Faculty Law.
